WELCOME
TO OUR SITE!
INVITATION
You are cordially
invited to worship with us. In the same way that Jesus called and accepted
everyone, no one is turned away! Click HERE
for a map and directions to the church, or click on the map.
We minister to those who have no church home, are searching
for the truth, or have been injured in some previous
church relationship.
As a community of faith in Jesus, Holy Spirit of Hope
desires to assist your understanding
of this Man who loves you like no other.
RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION
Holy Spirit of Hope
is a Bible-based Christian church using Catholic rituals and is in
fellowship with all Christian churches.
Initially
founded in 2002 under the Catholic Charismatic Church, we have been serving
since 2011 as an Independent Catholic Church within the Independent Old Catholic Church.
Our
foundational verse is:
|
"May the God of hope fill
you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him, so that you may overflow
with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
- Romans
15:13

ONE CHRIST, ONE TABLE, ONE PEOPLE
Helping people
enter a personal relationship with Jesus. Receiving all baptized to
Communion. Coming together by the call of God, not man, we provide
Biblical guidance to His purpose for our life. “For I was hungry and you gave Me to eat, I was thirsty and you
gave Me to drink, I was a stranger and you invited Me in, I needed clothes
and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and
you came to visit Me…whatever you did for one of the least of these
brothers of Mine, you did for Me.”
(Mt.25:35-36,40)
PRACTICES
ADMINISTRATION
OF SACRAMENTS is a great responsibility of the Church, for
through these events as well as others, our faith in Christ grows and our life
in the Spirit reflects His presence. This branch of Christ‘s Church, without judgment, administers the
sacraments to all desirous of them, at an age and with preparation commensurate with one’s faith, without delay.
Taking our Great Commission seriously, we use Sacraments as special means
of evangelization.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Holy
Spirit of Hope Independent Catholic Church teaches that the Church consists
of the believers in Jesus Christ and the Triune God. This church is a valid
branch of the one, holy, catholic (universal), and apostolic Church.
The
Bible, as God’s Word, is used for all services and counseling
requirements. Accordingly, we believe in the saving grace and faith
with accompanying works of love. We believe that the Creeds developed by
the first seven Councils of the Church, known as the Apostle's, Nicene, and
Athenasian Creeds, explain our faith in plain,
simple, and uncomplicated manners.
We
believe that our relationships, with God and each other, are governed by
the Ten Commandments as basic guides for living sound moral lives, and are
fulfilled by Jesus' command of love; sin is any act not in accord with
God’s definition of love; Satan is the accuser of mankind who lies, cheats,
kills, steals, and destroys through confusion of the truth unto sin. We
teach the Good News that through Jesus’ death on the cross, the price for
all of our sins was paid, and we have a free forgiveness of sins attainable
by faith and confession.
