Baptism
Jesus directed us in what’s called the Great Commission:
“Go and make disciples of all the world, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
Baptism is the event that begins the spiritual journey of an individual. Through this sacrament, we commit God-parents to assist and develop the spiritual life of the child until confirmation. Holy Spirit of Hope stands ready to assist those who are denied Sacraments by their chosen church.
- Baptism is for ALL without prejudice; no one will be refused.
- The spiritual life consists of developing a relationship with the Triune God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), enjoying a prayerful life with God through the church, and sharing God’s Good News to others.
- The Baptism commitment is fulfilled by celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Baptisms are celebrated EVERY Saturday. Catechism is at 10am followed by the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism at 10:45 am.
