Baptism

Jesus directed us in what’s called the Great Commission:

Go and make disciples of all the world, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

  • Baptism is for ALL without prejudice; no one will be refused
  • Baptism starts the spiritual life of a person
  • Through the Sacrament of Baptism, parents and God-parents commit to assist the child develop their spiritual life
  • The spiritual life consists of developing a relationship with the Triune God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), enjoying a prayerful life with God through the church, and sharing God’s Good News to others
  • The Baptism commitment is fulfilled by celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation

Baptisms are celebrated EVERY Saturday. Catechism is at 10am followed by the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism at 10:45 am.
